All About Me
I am pursuing a Masters in Library Media Education at Western Kentucky University. I hope to graduate by December 2017.
I am a 42 year old wife and mother. I have been married for 24 years and have two children. My son is 17 years old and my daughter is 11. I have two beagles: Maggie Mae & Hank. They keep us smiling! I love to read, watch movies, dance, and spend time with my family and friends. I love visiting new places and trying new foods.
I have been a teacher for 13 years. I have taught second, third, and fourth grades. I chose to purse my Library Media Education degree in order to continue working with children, but also have the ability to encourage a passion for reading on all levels: books, newspapers, online journals, etc. I was a struggling reader as a child and wish someone would have encouraged me more to work on my reading abilities. I want to make sure that no matter what educational level students are on, they will have a desire to read in order to further their knowledge and reading abilities. Afterall, the sky is the limit!!!

RECENT PROJECT
I recently completed LME 501, 502, and 537 during the fall of 2016. I learned a lot of new information that will benefit me throughout this journey.
